With over two decades of dedicated experience as an educator in a continuation high school setting, I've had the privilege of guiding students through a diverse range of subjects, including Mathematics, Art, Music Production, and even innovative topics like Bitcoin Economics. My commitment to fostering student success is built on a foundation of real-world understanding, further enriched by five years of experience as a small business owner, managing a bustling restaurant. This unique blend of classroom expertise and entrepreneurial insight allows me to create practical, engaging, and relevant learning materials designed to meet the varied needs of today's students.

My classroom is a hub of active learning where students engage deeply with material through project-based and hands-on activities. I believe that the most effective learning happens when students are doing, creating, and problem-solving. I hold a Master of Arts (MA) in Curriculum and Instruction, which has equipped me with a deep understanding of educational theory, instructional design, and best practices in teaching and learning. Beyond the classroom, I am an avid outdoorsman with a passion for backpacking, hiking, and traveling to new places. I find that these experiences often inspire new ideas and perspectives that I bring back to my teaching and resource creation. My creative energy also extends to making music, painting, gardening, and various planting projects. This love for creating and nurturing growth, whether in a garden or in the minds of students, is a common thread that runs through all aspects of my life.
