Students choose strategies to create their own toolbox to regulate emotions in the green zone.

Teach students to identify the moments that affect their emotional reaction. Being able to identify their triggers will support them to regulate their emotions independently.

A review of using the Zones for emotional regulation. Students cut and paste emotions and strategies and match them to each of the zones. Could be completed individually or with a small group. I use this activity after introducing all of the Zones and creating toolbox strategies, then students take the posters home to display and keep language consistent.
