Relationships and Rigor

This project covers all financial literacy TEKS for 5th grade: taxes, income, budget, ways to pay, etc. It is through a researched project about choosing a career and all of the decision that come along with it. It is a great way to teach financial literacy for the students to grasp these concepts in the real world. We did our presentations through google drive.

This project combines the skills of adding, subtracting, and multiplying numbers with decimals. It helps the students see and understand how we use decimals everyday in the real world while shopping at a grocery store.

This jeopardy PPT covers standard form, expanded form, word form, rounding, comparing and ordering numbers. The numbers range from the hundred billions place to the thousandths place. There are FIVE categories of questions: Standard Form, Expanded Form, Word Form, Comparing/ Ordering Decimals, and Rounding. There are five questions in each category.
