Experience
I have experience teaching Language Arts and Social Studies in grades 4th, 5th, and 6th! This is my 4th year teaching 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies!
Teaching style
This year, our district adopted National Geographic's Reach for Reading Program in our district. Because this is a fairly new program, there aren't a lot of outside resources available. Many of my resources will be my creative approach to using the Reach for Reading Program in my classroom. I'll also post some other resources that go along with my creative teaching approach.

My own education history
I graduated from Miami University in 2011 with a degree in Middle Childhood Education with concentrations in Language Arts and Social Studies. A few years later, I went back to school at Ohio University to obtain my K-12 Reading Endorsement. This past May, I also graduated from Ohio University with a Master's Degree in Reading Education!
