Experience

With over 15 years of experience as an educator, including roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and administrator, I specialize in creating engaging, standards-based resources that support student learning. My expertise spans multiple subjects, including math, science, and English language arts, and I have extensive training in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), intervention strategies, and formative assessments. Teaching style

I believe in providing high-quality instruction through evidence-based activities that actively engage students in the learning process. Learning happens best when students are actively doing, not just completing worksheets. My approach emphasizes a balance of direct teaching, guided practice, and independent work, ensuring students have the support they need to build confidence and deepen their understanding. By incorporating hands-on learning and meaningful practice, I strive to create lessons that are both effective and engaging, helping students grow into independent, capable learners.

My own education history

I am a proud graduate of East Central University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2010. With over eleven years of experience teaching grades 3-8, I have developed a deep passion for student learning and instructional excellence. In 2022, I earned my master's degree in educational leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, which led me to roles as an instructional coach and administrator, further expanding my impact on education.
