Thanksgiving Division 4th Grade Project

As we approach Thanksgiving Break, this is a great way to keep students engaged in a fun way that still allows them to practice essential skills. This TEK (Texas Essential Knowledge) based activity is focused on division. I have used STAAR prep questions in each of the fruits/veggies to keep the rigor high along side the engagement. Teaching style

Students learn best when they are engaged and having fun! My teaching style is centered around getting kids thinking critically about math, talking about it, and creating connections all around them about math. When teachers and students have a positive disposition about math, they are more likely to make connections to new skills and concepts.
