Teaching style

I create functional, meaningful, evidence based speech and language pathology resources designed for SLPs who work with adults. My therapy style centers on real life communication, joint goal setting, and helping clients understand the purpose behind every activity. I believe treatment is most effective when it connects directly to a person’s daily routines, values, and communication needs, and my materials are built with that philosophy in mind. When I first began providing adult speech therapy, especially online, I struggled to find resources that fit my needs. I wanted materials that were more engaging than basic black and white worksheets but not as rigid or limited as therapy apps. I needed something in between, something flexible that I could use with a wide range of patients in both teletherapy and in-person sessions. Since I could never quite find what I needed, I started creating my own therapy tools. I still use these same resources with my clients today because they are practical, visually supportive, and grounded in strong clinical evidence. If you’re an SLP looking for adult focused therapy materials that combine evidence based practice, functional goals, and user friendly visuals, you’ll find resources here that support meaningful progress and make therapy sessions more effective.

Additional biographical information

I am a speech language pathologist with experience in community care, inpatient rehabilitation, acute hospital settings, and both public and private practice. Working across these environments has shaped the way I design therapy resources for adults. I understand the need for materials that are functional, flexible, and fully based on clinical evidence, because adult caseloads are diverse and every session needs to make a real difference. My therapy approach focuses on meaningful communication and joint goal setting. I aim to create activities that connect directly to what matters in a person’s daily life. Whether I am targeting aphasia, apraxia, cognitive communication, dysarthria, or general speech and language rehabilitation, I want every resource to be purposeful, engaging, and relevant in real world therapy. A major part of my story is the struggle to find materials that worked across different settings. I often needed something more engaging than a basic black and white worksheet and more adaptable than an app. I wanted resources I could use on the ward on an iPad, during online sessions for remote clients, or printed out for in person therapy. Since nothing truly met that need, I began creating my own materials. These resources became the solution I had been looking for, offering visual support, easy setup, and the flexibility required in both fast paced hospital work and structured outpatient sessions. I continue to use these same materials with my clients today, and now I share them here so other SLPs can save time and provide effective, evidence based adult therapy with confidence. If you are looking for adult centered speech therapy resources that are functional, research driven, and ready to use in acute care, rehabilitation, community services, teletherapy, or private practice, you will find materials here created with all of those needs in mind.
