Experience

Hello, my name is Amber. I am a high school exceptional education lead teacher. After 12 years of teaching elementary school with a focus in literacy, my path shifted to high school. Now, I have found my calling. Yes, with high school students.

Teaching style

I love to write and read every day with my students. High school students sometimes have to be reminded what "good readers do!" I am constantly reminding, reteaching, and encouraging my students to use strategies to aid in learning.
