Hello! I started teaching in 2009 as a middle school intensive mathematics teacher for 6th and 7th grade. Then, I taught a K-1 split co-teach class...what a great experience! Next, I was an ESE teacher for Kindergarten and 2nd grade. Following a year as a 2nd grade ESE push-in. From there, it was on to 3rd grade ESE push-in to 3rd ESE conversion and now I teach 3rd grade regular ed. I love what I do!

3rd Grade Data Binder and Data Day

Created by

This is a 3rd grade data binder where students can track their academic progress and students write their own academic and personal goals. I've also included a letter inviting parents to the Dazzling Data day where students share their data binder and I included parent reminders. There are a few options for tracking Reading Assessments such as i-Ready, STAR and AR points, and a regular one for reading level, comprehension, and fluency.

This is a vocabulary journal where the students write their own definition for the words, draw pictures for the words, come up with synonyms/antonyms for the words, and rate their understanding of the words. Can be used in centers, small groups, or during whole group. Fits with Marzano's 6 steps to vocabulary instruction. I have also included posters of the vocabulary skills.

Going Home Clip Labels

Identify how each student is going home by using these transportation labels. Attach a long piece of ribbon to the bottom of each laminated label and attach a clothespin with the student’s name on it to the ribbon that identifies how that student will get home. If a student has a permanent dismissal change, it’s easy to fix, just move the clip to the new ribbon with the correct transportation label. I have provided a few different options for color choices.
