The Design Process is new to our curriculum this year and I wanted to create a product that could be used across the board as a lab sheet for their journals and products based on understanding the steps of the design process at a student level. This is a great way to teach incoming 4th graders who struggle with multiplication tables gets some practice and be ready for multiplication and division through the use of multiples. Dice are used to help students count up to the next multiple.

This is a research sheet to help create a project about the state quarters and how they are special to our currency. There are sections to fill out to learn about the state quarter of choice and what makes each one special. There is a link included in the form for students to access information in one specific site, but they are welcome to find other sites.

This a a great way to teach 3rd and 4th graders the steps of scientific inquiry.
