Wiggle's Apple Book (Positional Words) FREEBIE!

Wiggle's Apple Book is a little reproducible reader that helps to practice and reinforce positional words. After introducing positional words such as over, under, beside, between, etc., give students a copy of the book along with several "worms," which are really small pieces of cut-up pipe cleaners. After students bend the pipe cleaners to resemble worms, have them tape them onto each page in the appropriate spot. How simple is that? Thanks for downloading this FREE item from my TPT store.

Then, copy several pages of the cute little snowmen and have the students glue them onto the correct location or position on each page. It's a fun way to assess whether or not your students have grasped the concept of positional words, and it's a great little reader too. I hope

Teaching style

I believe that every child can learn! It is my job to teach with passion and COMPASSION. I believe that to reach a child's mind, you must first capture his heart! I run a fairly structured classroom, because I have learned through my experiences that this is what young children need and want--even though they may not admit it! I always focus on the positive, and strive to help each and every child reach his full potential, no matter what that may be.
