Have students use the scientific method while playing Bocce Ball! Students will use a number of independent variables in order to complete a group lab that connects the scientific method with a fun, interactive game. This is a great beginning of the year experiment to get students to start thinking scientifically or when teaching students about physics (force & Laws of Motion).

A video game experiment to help (re)introduce your students to the scientific method and writing an experiment about it. Use video games to help students understand the scientific method by experimentation. They will conduct an experiment where they play video games with different independent variables, record their results, create a graph, and write a conclusion.
