ALL THE BUSY WORK IS DONE FOR YOU: Use this matrix to grade students on the 3rd Grade Common Core Standards around area and perimeter. Write/type the names of your students down the first column and print (or use electronically). This has been a great way for me to track students' progress on standards.

Parent Teacher Conference Reminder Visual

I've used this visual to send home to parents to remind them of their conference. I change the calendar depending on the month. I can do this for you, or you can! You can circle the day and add the time on the digital and analog clock. It is very helpful for families that speak limited English, and also just a nice reminder for families that do speak English. I've translated it into Spanish but you could delete that if you do not need it. I hope you find it as useful as I do!

Teaching style

Hey fellow teachers, I've decided to start a TPT store to share some of my resources. I've been teaching third grade for 6 years. Teaching in one grade level for 6 years truly is amazing; it allows the teacher to predict miscoptions, analyze mistakes, memorize the standards and really engage students through rigorous tasks and thinking. I'm passionate about increasing rigor in the classrooms in order to meet the rigor of the Common Core Standards, and life! Thus, I've decided to share some things that I use and hope you find them valuable as well! Rachel
