About the store
My teaching experience varies from 2nd grade, to High School and everything in between. While in undergrad, I gained teaching experience through a 2nd grade general education classroom as well as all levels of Special Education. Upon graduating with degrees in Elementary Education, Special Education and Middle School endorsements in Math, Social Studies, Science, and Language Arts, I began my career as a Middle School Special Education Teacher. I then changed gears and taught High School English for a year. After teaching in South Dakota for 2 years, I moved to Florida where I have taught Middle School Science for two years before completely switching gears again to where I am now- teaching Middle School Science through an online platform with a national based company.

Scientific Method- Lima bean Experiment
Need a filler lesson/activity? Or a refresher of the Scientific Method? This short review of the Scientific Method is intended to be used during the first month of school to remind students of how to work through conducting experiments for the rest of the school year. The teacher will conduct the experiment while students practice the Scientific Method. Materials needed: Lima beans, clear beaker (or other clear container) baking soda and vinegar. Optional plate to catch overflowing liquid.
