I am currently a Reading Specialist at a reputed Montessori school in northern California where I also manage a diverse Learning Support Center. Teaching style

My motto and style has always been following the child. Humor is one of my best friends when I teach, and I try and make my classes fun and light-hearted since these kids already struggle so much. I believe all children can learn if we try and understand their needs and give them information in a way they can learn and understand it. One size doesn't fit all! :)

Awards & shining teacher moments

"I See, I Spell, I Learn, LLC" Picture Sight Word cards have received the Homeschool.com award. I graduated "Summa-Cum-Laude" from University of Pennsylvania with BA in Psychology and French.

My own education history

B.A. Summa Cum Laude - Double Major in Psychology and French. M.A. - Communications Management (Annenberg School for Communication - at USC). Montessori Training and experience in Primary and Lower Elementary. Dyslexia Graduate Seminar.

Additional biographical information

I love working with children and am so grateful for having been led to this line of work. It's very satisfying and gratifying to help children who struggle with learning disabilities and to see their transformation into able readers and all-round performers.
