I have been teaching for over 10 years and I love working with kids! I have been a 6th grade math teacher for the last 8 years. Before teaching 6th grade math, I taught all the subjects in 4th and 6th grade. I love being creative and finding fun ways for my students to learn.

Teaching style

I love when the light goes off and I am always trying to find different ways to make that happen. I believe that we should work hard but have fun along the way. I love to be creatively challenged when trying to help my students, whether it is a game, hands-on learning, or trying different approaches to help their understanding.

Additional biographical information

I am an Wisconsin transplant, setting up roots in Indiana for the last 20 years. I am married with two teenagers and a dog. Our busy life is full, attending sports events just about year round (football, volleyball, wrestling, and track). In my free time, I love reading, puzzles, crocheting, camping and crafts.
