Tired of grading the same old book reports? Here are 11 creative ideas to use for book reports, book projects, responses to literature, etc. I have included directions for each idea. You can either give your students the entire list and let them choose their favorite idea or you can assign a particular project. There are enough projects that your students will be able to do a different project each month of the school year.

Experience

Teaching style
I believe in consistency in the classroom and clear expectations. I run my classroom with the students in mind. I tell them that it is their classroom and their space. I put them in charge of everything so that they feel responsible and in turn take care of supplies. I let the students help create classroom rules and therefore empower the student. I strongly believe in reaching all learners so I always incorporate a variety of teaching methods. There is no one way to teach something correctly as long as your students are engaged and excited about learning.
