Use these Christmas Tree Shake & Spill recording sheets in small groups or at stations to help students identify the addition and subtraction equations associated with sums 4-10. Students shake and spill red/yellow counters and color the ornaments on the tree accordingly. Then, the students write the four equations (2+, 2-) that go with the ornament arrangement on the tree.
