I saw this on Pinterest and decided to modify it and make some bones. Laminate and cut out the bones. Students can dress up as doctors or be a palaentologist and put the bones back together. They then complete the recording sheet. Ideal for Literacy centres.

Students roll the dice and print the correct vowel in one of the words. Whoever finishes a word takes a counter. The winner is the student with the most counters.

If students write a vowel to complete a real word not on the list this should be accepted.
