Oral language skills are the foundations on which we build all other literacy skills such as reading, writing, spelling etc. This set of picture talks is designed to be a stepping stone for teachers to develop the skills of speaking and listening with their children. They can be used in the morning routine, as part of a theme or as springboards for lots of different activities.
