Experience

I'm a special education teacher with years of experience supporting students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and behavioral challenges in inclusive and self-contained classrooms. I've worked closely with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and families to create learning environments that are compassionate, structured, and student-centered. Teaching style

My teaching style is calm, flexible, and highly structured. I believe in building strong relationships first, then using clear expectations, visual supports, and consistent routines to help students thrive. I’m passionate about breaking down big concepts into simple, doable steps—whether I’m teaching a student how to decode a word or training a paraprofessional to respond to behavior positively.

My own education history

I hold a degree in special education and have completed additional coursework in behavioral interventions, trauma-informed teaching, and inclusive classroom practices. I am pursing certification in Instructional Design.
