This is a Powerpoint covering six basic parent functions in a jeoparody game. Once students know the graphs of y=x^2, y=x^3, y=sqrt(x), y=x^(1/3), y=x^(2/3), and y=|x|, they can play this game in class to identify the functions from the graphs and describe the transformations (reflections about the x axis, vertical shifts, horizontal shifts).
