This is a pack of 3 scavenger hunts over times tables for the numbers 6, 7, and 8.

What is this thing anyway? A scavenger hunt is a more engaging and mobile alternative to just giving the students a worksheet.
To use the scavenger hunt:
1) The slides are currently in order so that the question on the bottom half of each slide is answered on the top half of the next slide.
2) Print out all the slides and post them up randomly around the room or in the hall

Experience
I taught Algebra/Geometry in High school for 4 years. I also have been teaching pre-AP Algebra and 8th grade Math in middle school for the last 6 years.
Teaching style
Technology heavy teaching style. I made my own virtual whiteboard with a Wii remote and I use powerpoint presentations and things like the eInstruction remotes all the time.
Awards & shining teacher moments
My students think I'm awesome, does that count? hehe
And the old saying about always a bridesmaid and never a bride applies to me and the teacher of the year voting at my school. They like me enough to keep putting me on the ballot, but I never seem to win. Personally, I think it's because I'm in a portable building and they think less of me because of that. :)

Additional biographical information
I am a native Houstonian who is back home teaching math to at-risk kids. This is definitely NOT what I saw myself doing when I was a student, but I love every minute of it. I am also a father to an awesome, rambunctious 3 year old boy.
