This first PowerPoint project is a presentation in which the student describes themselves, their family, and other facts they would like to share such as favorite movies, aspirations, etc. Includes rubric with all the requirements for the presentation. I usually show them a sample using my information so the students better get to know me.

Test students gullibility with this fun activity. I use this in science class to teach logical thinking. I use it with kids in groups of two or three competing to see who can get the most correct. There are 25 questions with answers in an editable Word document.

Students collect the fingerprints of their lab partners using graphite (from pencils). This is an simple, safe and easy to clean-up lab activity which generates great data. Students identify their prints then collect the class data in the included chart.
