About the store
I am currently beginning my 6th year of teaching. My student teaching experience was half in 1st and half in 4th. Following graduation, I was a long-term substitute for a 5th grade class for 3 months. Once the year was up, a 3rd grade position opened up and I took it, happily teaching 8-9 year olds for 4 years. This past year, I began a new adventure as a 2nd grade teacher and will be teaching that again in the 2013-14 school year!

This file is a great resource when you are teaching about landforms! It includes definitions, pictures, and video clips to show the students real examples of the landforms all over the world! This is a magnet that displays the class specials times and lunch time for the parents. Once opened, it is able to be edited to fit your individual schedule! To make these nice for parents, they are first printed out and laminated on pretty scrapbooking paper. Next, I attach the magnets and leave them on my white board for parents to pick up at Open House. It is especially helpful for them to keep track of P.E. days and lunch times! Thanks to MyCuteGraphics.com for the clipart!

Leveled 2-Step Word Problems

I created this worksheet for our 2-step word problem unit. Since my class was quite varied in their abilities to conquer these problems, I put them into groups and gave them the level most suited to them. In order of the document, silver sharks are the easiest, green gorillas/purple parrots are average, and blue barricudas are the hardest. All operations are included, but can easily be edited to fit your own students!

This is a very similar presentation to my SmartBoard one. The colors and effects are a bit different due to formatting reasons, but the information is the same! The main difference is that this one includes a short online quiz at the end. Enjoy!

This is a rewards chart for teachers to use for the Class Dojo app. It has a list of items the students may earn at a variety of point values. As indicated on the chart, the point values re-start at the beginning of each month! Mine is geared towards the younger group, but it is easily edited for any crew of students!

This is a key words bookmark I made for my students to keep at their desks. Some taped them on there, while most used them as bookmarks! I simply printed out enough for my class, backed them with colorful construction paper (cardstock or scrapbooking paper would be cute too!) and laminated them. I use them every year!!
