About the store

I have 20+ years of teaching high school students in Art, Sculpture, Social Studies (World, US, Texas History/Govt/Economics, Psychology, and Geography) and Secondary ELAR. Since most of my time is dedicated to working with students with special learning needs, I recognize the importance of having additional study aids to enhance the learning process. In addition to teaching in the classroom, I have worked as an In-Home Parent Trainer, a district Curriculum Writer, and coordinator of various programs that support both students and families in their post-secondary lives.

The topic is WW1 and the Treaty of Versailles that forced Germany to accept full responsibility for the war and the destruction it caused throughout Europe as a condition of their surrender. But it also gives students the opportunity to identify text evidence that supports the main idea that the treaty was utilized as a form of punishment than a vehicle for peace.

Additional biographical information

I have been with my partner, Bob, for 32 years and we have three grown children together: Ian, Macey, and Regan and one grandson, Diam. I also have six fur babies: Mickey, Minnie, Murray, Keechi, Luna, and Walter. My favorite activity as an educator outside of working with children is writing and illustrating children's books in addition to developing curriculum. My favorite thing in the entire world is being at home with my family and cooking for them.
