Organizing information important for journeys to the cafeteria is necessary to help improve communication and organization in a classroom environment. Most importantly, I also found that if it is done correctly, it improves student independence! I wanted to share my tool for this success, and have edited this tool for your use. About the store

Experience

January 2015 - December 2018, I worked in a Self-Contained Special Education Classroom that focused on managing classroom behaviors to increase inclusion opportunities while teaching intense and direct academic skills.

Teaching style

Giving students with disabilities individual care and attention while also teaching them how to function in a general education classroom setting increases their opportunities to make friends and enjoy school, which positively impacts their academic progress.

My own education history

Bachelors of Arts in Special Education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, December 2014 with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Additional biographical information

After moving to a new area, I was lucky enough to move to a district position as a Behavior Specialist to support more students! Now I have all of these resources that I created that I no longer need. Instead of only sharing with my district, I have decided to put them on TpT for teachers in every district.
