This software is based on the traditional "Beetle" game, made with a Flash application that can be run on its own on a Mac or P.C. or can be easily imported into Whiteboard software. The aim of this game is to TEST tables facts - both multiplication and division from 2 times up to 10 times tables using mental arithmetic and timed questions. This FLASH application generatres random numbers between a range that you select. Numbers can be re-used or always unique. The software includes the Mac version and the PC version. It also includes the swf file that is easily inserted into Interactive Whiteboard Software. I use this in almost every class - not just for Math, but also to allocate activities, randomly select students and so on. The software will work from a memory stick and so can easily be moved between different computers.
