About the store
I started my educational journey as a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse educator. This opportunity was rewarding and challenging in many ways and gave me the opportunity to work with grades K-8 in language development and literacy foundations. After a couple of years, I was led to teach on the Western Slope in Colorado as a fourth grade teacher, primarily teaching social studies and science. Our district had limited resources for these subjects, so I found myself making quite a few resources on my own using standards, some creativity, and a whole lot of support from other teachers. I taught four years of intermediate grades and found my passion in teaching vocabulary, morphology, and comprehension strategies to my students. This passion led me to get my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. I then went on to teach three more years at another school in fourth grade, and refined my teaching style in vocabulary and morphology. After having my second child, I decided to take a break from teaching but have come back to TPT to share my resources and understanding of the foundations of literacy.

Each day families will get the opportunity to read scripture, write about what they read, and use literary elements to better understand challenging concepts from the bible.

This editable resource is great for having many options for your toddler to choose from that are healthy, but also give them a choice. A to E letter recognition assessment

This assessment is great after teaching letter recognition for letters A to E. This assessment allows teachers to know if students can identify the letter for each picture and write that letter in upper and lower case form. It also supports phonemic awareness in understanding letter sounds that correlate with each letter for students to identify.
