My teaching style is hands-on, story-driven, and rooted in student engagement. I believe kids learn best when they are actively involved in the process. Not just listening, but when they are actually doing, thinking, and discovering.
I love using storytelling to bring lessons to life, especially in history and science. I have found stories help students connect emotionally to what they’re learning. When students care about the story, they remember the content.
I also look for ways to connect learning to what students are already curious about. Engagement doesn’t start with “getting them interested.” It starts by meeting them where they are.
Most importantly, I want students to be part of the teaching, not just the audience. Whether that’s through discussion, hands-on activities, or exploration, my goal is to create lessons where students feel involved, capable, and genuinely excited to learn.
