Rooted Learning offers reading and math intervention services that follows the Orton-Gillingham approach to literacy and have adapted the OG approach to give instruction for numeracy. With nearly a decade of classroom experience, along with countless hours of research, professional development, and specialized training, founder Courtney Corey is bringing her expertise to support the Lakeland community and has now added other great minds to offer more supports!
The vision for Rooted Learning was born from a deep desire to create a space where students could receive the personalized support they deserve. With so many children struggling in today's school system, the need for effective, evidence-based intervention is greater than ever. Rooted Learning is dedicated to helping students of all ages rebuild their confidence, strengthen their skills, and rediscover a love for learning.

Teaching style
Our Teaching Philosophy
Our Teachers Pay Teachers store is the collaborative effort of three passionate educators and educational support professionals who bring diverse experiences and perspectives. With backgrounds in education, intervention services, and student support, we have worked with learners across a variety of settings and developmental stages.
Collectively, our experience spans classroom teaching, academic intervention, social-emotional learning, individualized support, and working with students who have diverse learning needs. Through our work in intervention settings, we have developed a deep understanding of the importance of differentiated instruction, student engagement, and creating resources that are both practical and effective.
Every resource we create is designed with real students and real classrooms in mind. We believe learning should be accessible, meaningful, and adaptable to meet the needs of all learners. Our goal is to provide educators with high-quality, classroom-tested materials that save time, support student success, and foster confidence in learning.
