A Note for Parents and Educators This activity is designed to help rising sixth graders classify marine life based on which ocean they live in. It is recommended that prior to the activity children will have read 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: A Graphic Novel or a different form of the classic novel. Utilize the power of movement to facilitate your students understanding of science and the Civil Rights Movement. The Bundle Includes a full lesson plan and two Frozen Pictures lessons. Frozen Pictures or Tableaux are a kinesthetic learning exercise in which students recreate a picture or historical scene as a collaborative group. Lesson 1 is designed to help students explore animal adaptations. Lesson 2 is a celebration of Ruby Bridge and students are challenged to portray Ruby's bravery in the
