This resource is meant to help students begin thinking about citing sources as they gather information. The ultimate goal is that students can go onto Thinglink.com and Animoto after using this resource and create digital content to show their online research. To connect this with writing, students can use all gathered information as research for a research report. This document is editable and will allow teachers to customize due dates, steps, and number of sources required.

This presentation can be assigned or presented (in PDF form) to give an overview of how AI can help students with their learning. It has an embedded learning task to help students consider the information in the presentation as well as to research some of the ethical considerations. The ethical piece can really spark great debate and discussion in class at many grade levels. This will require students to conduct some research online to complete the assignment.
Using the link provided in the document, guide your students through an analysis of levels 1-4 writing. This can be used as a guided lesson or as an independent team activity. The anchor papers have typed teacher comments in the margin to guide students in their analysis. Option: Cut off teacher comments and students make all of the comments themselves.
This quiz will give you a good framework for vocabulary to go with an Economics Unit. Use this as an open notes document, pre and post test, or for guided notes.
