Students apply their knowledge about heat transfer, particle motion and phase changes in a fun ice cream lab that they can later enjoy! Post lab questions require students to create a model explaining the lab - how particles change before and after the phase change - how heat is transferred (conduction/convection/radiation) 2 versions available - one for students who need extra language supports

First day of school activity includes: 1. All about me sheet that students can fill out as a do now or class activity in the first 5-10 minutes of class 2. Students then write a short letter about them as a student (Sentence stems included, but you can easily have students free write on the back if they don't need the support) Please leave reviews/suggestions!

This folder includes a few science binder covers for 7th grade. Some are more basic with space for students to customize (can be a fun first week of school activity). Other designs include pictures of topics covered in 7th grade for them to color. These are ready for use but can also be easily edited with different pictures/fonts/grade levels.
