In the project, students start by using given parents' genes to predict the offsprings traits. They complete punnett squares + calculate the percent chance of inheriting each trait. Students will then flip a coin to determine what alleles their baby will inherit from each parent. They can then sketch and name their baby. Graphs show how biotic and abiotic factors can affect organisms. Students must analyze and interpret untitled graphs and match them to the scenario that each graph best represents. (Modified from another resource) You can print out each scenario as cards + graphs for students to match then explain on their student sheet.
