I've been fortunate to teach a variety of grades during the past eight years, including 4 years as a K-5 Moderate Needs Special Education/Reading Interventionist, 2 years in 4th and a year in 2nd. This year, I'm spending my days teaching 5th grade reading and writing. I couldn't be more thrilled!

Experience

Teaching style
Pretty straightforward, but I LOVE a fun font :) My classroom does a significant amount of collaborative learning.
My own education history
I earned by BA in Political Science from CU Boulder. I then decided I wanted to teach, and went back from my MA in Special Education from Adams State in 2009. This past year I also wrapped up coursework and internships for my Principal's License.
