While You Were Out Cover Sheet

This document includes full sheet and half-sheet versions of a “While you were out” cover sheet. Staple one to each missing student’s work each period, fill them out at the end of the day, and put them in a folder for the students to check when they get back. About the store

Experience

I've been teaching middle and high school math for 5 years. I've accumulated plenty of resources from my experiences in different districts, and I want to share them with you!

Teaching style

I love to get the kids involved in their learning; no lectures here! I've used interactive notebooks with success, I use a lot of activities that get students out of their seats and moving around the room or school, and I'm a big fan of grouped seating and cooperative learning instead of traditional rows. I'm currently working towards a completely flipped classroom for the geometry courses I'm teaching next year.

My own education history

I graduated from Millersville University in 2010 with a BSE in Mathematics Education (7-12). I am currently working on my masters in education with a focus in curriculum design and instruction through Eastern Mennonite University Lancaster Campus.
