About the store

Experience

The Roxy Jane Collection is created by an occupational therapist with over 17 years of experience supporting children and families across the lifespan in the home, school, and community settings. These resources are informed by real-life experience and are intentionally designed to support functional skills, routines, and independence in meaningful, practical ways.

Teaching style

Resources in this collection blend creativity with practicality. Emphasis is placed on meaningful engagement while strategies are adaptable to each learner's unique strengths. Real-world experiences and daily routines help students connect deeply and feel confident in their learning process.

My own education history

The Roxy Jane Collection is inspired by a combination of clinical expertise and parental experience as the mom of a now adult child with Down Syndrome. An eclectic combined personal journey spanning homeschooling, "road-schooling", and professional journey encompassing home health, inclusive preschool education, college instructor, and working in the group home/dayhab settings have provided insight into the diversity of learning needs across real world settings and the need for a functional approach to life skills in everyday routines that is sustainable.
