This allows students to show what they know. Print and cute the number cards to be used again and again. Students can make their own number, identify value and display expanded and word form. Using the digits 0-9 Students will be able to explain and display their understanding of place value up to numbers in the hundred thousands.

Students can use the area models to multiply double digit numbers. They are able to use partial products and mental math to find the sum of double digit multiplication problems. This can be used as homework, assessments, or just extra practice in the classroom. Happy multiplying!

Students will be able to explain their understanding of place value using this fun scavenger hunt. Students can work in teams, using newspapers and magazines to complete the scavenger hunt chart. They will then compare and order numbers from highest to lowest. Bonus- they will use their findings to make the largest number they can and compare with their neighbors.
