About the store
I have been a Middle School Special Education/Resource Teacher for 12 years. I teach at a wonderful middle school in Indiana. In addition to Resource classes, I teach remedial math and reading classes to Gen Ed students. I also have the privilege of team teaching with some amazing General Education teachers. I am an Academic Superbowl coach and the Yearbook sponsor for my school as well.

Integer Rules Review
This quick integer review activity gives students a chance to practice the rules for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with integers. I like this activity because it allows me to quickly assess whether or not students understand the rules for computing with integers and not just whether or not they know how to compute correctly.

Two Step Algebraic Equations Task Cards with QR Codes
Students work through ten task cards to solve two step algebraic equations. Students self check using QR codes. Teachers can quickly check for understanding by looking at shaded or non shaded boxes on the students' answer sheets.

On a Roll With Perimeter, Area, and Volume
A simple activity for students to practice using formulas for solving area, surface area, perimeter, circumference, and volume. Students roll dice to determine the dimensions of each shape. Students then illustrate each shape and then solve the formulas.

Students reduce fractions and then scan QR codes to check their answers.

Teaching style
I love for my students to be actively involved in the learning process. I believe in establishing patterns and procedures with struggling students to help them grasp academic content. I integrate technology into most of my lessons (we are a 1:1 school).
