I have been teaching for just over 20 years. My passion is RTI! I am committed to RTI because I believe it is critical for helping students improve. When the classroom teacher, the service provider, instructional assistant, speech and language, etc., join together to problem solve the source of a student's weakness, along with strategies and interventions for them to improve, it's exciting work! What's best, I love to look at a student's baseline and watch the progress go up, up, up! And even if they aren't responding to the intervention, we learn so much from what we've tried, and it's fun for the team to start problem solving again!
