These took me absolutely hours to make this for my class so I hope it makes someone else's day easier. Two levels of difficulty. Adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator. Set 1: fractions under 1 whole e.g. 1/5 + 2/5 Set 2: mixed numbers e.g. 1 1/4 + 2/4, 2 3/8 + 1 1/8 PowerPoint bundle available for slightly more. The bar model approach has beeen used to represent these fractions.
A clear, editable, interactive PowerPoint for partitioning rectangles (squares can be moved around to make new rectangles) * Template included within the preview document so the children can manipulate the squares themselves as you are teaching * Task cards included in the final slides of the PowerPoint which can be printed and given to students for independent working. *Deepen questions to allow application of skills- True or false questions Meets the standard: 2. Two weeks of fully editable Math slides. Differentiated but as these are editable you could change them to whatever you need. More will be uploaded in the near future. 7 days worth of slides with a Morning Greeting, Quote of the Day, Share with a partner slide, Wonderful Writing slide and Magic Maths slide. I have provided 7 days so teachers can pick and choose which ones they would like to have over the week :)
Great for bulletin boards. Editable - names can be added on PowerPoint. Blank pages included so these can be printed off for children to write their own name or message if preferred.
