Design your own pop art LOVE design based on the work of Robert Indiana. Perfect for Valentine's day! The children could design this as a sculpture or as a card as Indiana had originally done. These would make a beautiful display when finished or they could be mounted and given as a gift for loved ones.

Decorate a ginerbread house with this fun, festive activty. Lots of extension possibilities- design a background and who might live there. It can lead into lots of lovely writing possibilities- write a story about who lives there, create a tourist brochure encouraging people to visit it or a listing for AirBnB, create a snowy poem. Write a letter back from the gingerbread house to a loved one- what did you see while you were there? How does it compare to home? Great links to Hansel and Gretel. S
