About the store
I am a current 8th-grade Physical Education and Health Teacher at South Jr High in the Boise School District. Additionally, I serve as the acting Athletic Director, overseeing the sports program's guidance, budgeting, and coordination of schedules for games and practices. In my previous role as Athletic Director at Vallivue School District (July 2018 — June 2020), I managed sports program finances, coordinated game schedules, and participated in meetings with fellow Athletic Directors and The Idaho High School Activities Association. I also handled facility requests and mediated disputes between athletes, coaches, and parents. As the Testing Coordinator at Ridgevue High School (July 2018 — June 2019), I meticulously planned and organized various exams, including PSAT, WIDA/ACCESS, NAEP, ISAT, and SAT. This involved managing seating arrangements, room accommodations, and hiring testing proctors. I also facilitated the NAEP exam for seniors, collecting and submitting data to the College Board. During my tenure as ASB Leadership Teacher at Ridgevue High School (July 2018 — June 2019), I guided the student government body, including the president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. The ASB organized school events such as dances, rallies, and activities, contributing to school unity and spirit. Students in the leadership class also created informational posters, updated bulletin boards, led the pledge of allegiance, and conducted morning announcements. Previously, I served as a Physical Education Specialist at West Ada School District in Boise (August 2009 — June 2018), where I focused on organizing activities and sports to promote an active lifestyle among children and young adults. My educational goal was to help students develop motor skills, physical fitness, and healthy eating habits to nurture the holistic development of each student.

Parkour Assessments

PARKOUR ASSESSMENT PLAN In order to determine if my unit goals are successfully met, I will use three different types of assessments.  I will use a pre and post-Plicker test to assess student’s knowledge of Freerunning & Parkour movements.  I will use peer checks throughout the lessons. Finally, I will have students create an introduction to parkour video in the final week of the class. (EOC)
