This document includes an assessment for each middle school math Essential Element standard for 6th-8th grade. These standards are based on the Michigan Essential Elements and prepare the students for the state alternative assessments. Each essential element has a four question quiz/assessment to check the students learning. There is also a data sheet included to report the students progress.

Use this template in a clear sleeve or sheet protector to allow students to write on with a dry erase marker. This will allow the students to process through the steps and organize their thinking process. This template includes a template for rounding to the nearest tens and hundreds place value.
