I teach at a very small rural school in western Kansas, which has meant that I have a very wide variety of teaching experiences. I have worked with students as young as fourth grade and adults in their 60s. I have more than 15 years teaching experience, and I hold both bachelor's and master's degree in English from Fort Hays State University. These multiple-choice quizzes include between 15 and 20 questions per section (chapters 1-5, 6-11, and 12-19) for the book Black Ships Before Troy by Rosemary Sutcliffe. This book is a good alternative to reading The Iliad as an epic in translation, especially for regular education students, ELLs, and SPED students at the middle school level.
