This RtI Toolkit provides a solid foundation for implementing a strong RtI program with an Elementary School setting. In addition to the other EnVision Math 2.0 Common Core resources, these skills assessments have been designed to measure student progress, without the use of multiple-choice questions. Students must show their work to solve each problem, rather than guessing with multiple-choice. Skills Assessments were created for grade 5 to provide more open-ended ways to assess student learning rather than the multiple-choice options provided through the Envision Math program. They assess students on the current skills being learned and review previously taught skills. It is a great learning tool and a way to document student data (which I use on a consistent basis for my special education students).

This Tuck Everlasting student packet will help in guiding students through this award-winning story by Natalie Babbitt. Since I work primarily with special education students, the guide is formatted in a student-friendly manner. It also provides students with a purpose for reading and engages them to incorporate their writing skills by responding to short-answer questions for each chapter, analyzing quotes, and investigating the literary devices used in the story.

The grade 5 Reading Street vocabulary features the vocabulary words for each main selection, definition and part of speech. A second page features the vocabulary words used in a sentence taken directly out of the main selection so students can see how the word is used.
Sleuth is great to use for small groups or as an intervention. Having the 3 questions written out with space to write offers students a better way to organize their work and in turn allows teachers a method of collecting student work as evidence or grades. Questions for each grade 4 Sleuth story are included.
Supports the needs of all students who are learning fractions. Handbook provides step by step examples on how to solve a large array of fraction problems. The book has a total of 38 pages...the table of contents thumbnail did format the correct way, but is visually formatted correctly in the downloaded document.
These colorfully labeled perimeter, area, volume, etc. reference sheets provide students with the visual they need to make sense of these challenging formulas.

I teach special education students with learning disabilities, so I love utilizing technology such as Smartboards and document cameras to deliver meaningful instruction. The visual element is so important for all students.
