In addition to the other EnVision Math 2.0 Common Core resources, these skills assessments have been designed to measure student progress, without the use of multiple-choice questions. Students must show their work to solve each problem, rather than guessing with multiple-choice. Skills Assessments were created for grade 5 to provide more open-ended ways to assess student learning rather than the multiple-choice options provided through the Envision Math program. They assess students on the current skills being learned and review previously taught skills.
