These pages provide two paragraphs on the same topic. Each paragraph represents a different point of view of the topics. Students read the passages to determine which information is present in each paragraph.

This is a PowerPoint presentation to review or introduce non-fiction text features. The terms presented are: timelines, maps, diagrams, illustrations, photos, text boxes, and tables. Each term is presented on a slide with the definition and a picture. There are also some practice questions at the end.

This is a PowerPoint file to be used for practice or a formative assessment of capitalizing appropriate words in titles. Each slide has four titles with mistakes in capitalization. The students should be given time to correct them on whiteboards or journals. Then, the teacher clicks the slide and the answers are revealed using proofreading marks.

This is a practice page for simple, compound, and complex sentences. It fits with the common core standard L.3.1i. This could be used as a practice worksheet, guided practice page, or a quiz/test.

This worksheet helps students practice fact families for multiplication and division or addition and subtraction. It motivates the students by organizing the fact families using fidget spinner clipart. The worksheets are editable using Microsoft Publisher so you can change the numbers and use as many times as you want.

This is an interactive PowerPoint designed as a review of multiple language standards. It can be used as a review before end of year testing or just for grammar practice. It includes verb tenses, idioms, subject/verb agreement, capitalization, comparative adjectives, combining sentences, commas in addresses, apostrophes, and dialogue. The slides can be easily duplicated to create more practice for each skill as needed for your class.
