This is a 5 week lesson plan for the story The Tiger Who Came To Tea. Week 1 is a recap of phonics, punctuation and some grammar. Week 2 to week 4 is all about the story including reading, writing, acting, discussions and editing. Week 5 is a step away from the story as students write instructions for making a Milkshake.

This is a PowerPoint consisting of a 19 lesson process for KS1. It goes through the stages of prediction, reading, discussion, designing, taking the story apart, editing the story, and eventually producing your own sequel. It works perfectly with the run up to the Winter holidays. It has been used with EAL, Native speakers, SEN students. It is well broken down that it is fairly accessible to all abilities.
